Large parts of our earth are uncultivated or are cultivated in third world countries without modern agricultural technology. Yet they contain a treasure that is becoming increasingly valuable and is hardly affordable in industrialized nations: space. Not least in order to meet the constantly growing demand in emissions trading.

The Blue Glacier Association and its partners are bridging the gap between farmers in the third world and international emissions trading.

Blue Glacier is a non-profit association for the protection of the environment, founded in accordance with the provisions of Art. 60 ff. of the Swiss Civil Code. It was founded in September 2021 and registered for the first time with UN EcoSoc in November 2023 and January 2024. It was entered in the Swiss commercial register in February 2024.

As an active association, Blue Glacier works in accordance with the UN AGENDA 21, which was adopted at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. The association makes national and international contributions to sustainable development in the areas of economics, ecology and sustainability according to the criteria of AGENDA 21 and the UN SDG sustainability goals.
